The Costa de la Luz (Coast of Light) is the western coastline of the province of Andalucia, facing the Atlantic Ocean. Located at the southern most tip of Europe, the typical beaches are more expansive, with finer golden sand, than the neighboring Costa del Sol.

Refreshing evening breezes blow in from North Africa, the coastline of which is visible from the southern peninsula. With over 300 days of sunshine per year, the climate would best be described as North African.
