Part of the prestigious Sol Melia Group, the four star Hotel Sol Antillas Barbados has direct access to the Magalluf beach, and is approximately 800 metres from the resort centre with its choice of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1970 and completely renovated during the winter of 2000/2001, the Antillas/Barbados complex consists of two 12 storey blocks with a total of 319 double rooms, and 10 Junior Suites in the Antillas building and a further 428 double rooms in the Barbados block. All guest rooms are air conditioned and come equipped with a fully fitted modern bathroom with hairdryer, satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box, minibar and either a balcony or terrace.

During the summer months this hotel has a Flintstone themed activities and entertainment programme that include rifle shooting, darts, and various pool games. Other guest facilities include a buffet style restaurant serving hot and cold food, a fitness centre with sauna, a multi-sports court, along with both an indoor heated and outdoor swimming pool that are surrounded by 10,000 m2 of tropical gardens.

Facilities at the Sol Antillas Barbados Hotel include outdoor children and adults pool with sun bed service during high season. Room Service is available during dining-hours. From November to April the heated indoor pool is open. Further more there is a gym, sauna, solarium (on charge), massages, Jacuzzi (free of charge).

Facilities for bicycle maintenance, storage with supplement as well as there are organised cycling routes, with Philips bike team. There is ping-pong, tennis court (on charge), billiards (on charge), Baby Rock Club, Bam Bam Club and Cool Club (only May to October). Sports programme all day plus evening entertainment programme; Diving school (PADI), only during the high season. The hotel has 5 meeting rooms for 15 to 350 people.
