This is one of the few courses in Europe designed by Dan Maples who has worked extensively in North Carolina and Florida. The American style is evident with six artificial lakes, which in no way upset the natural look of the landscape and terrain

Capdepera is an excellent tournament course from the back-tees and one, which gradually mellows as you move further forward. From the front, the course doesn't look as tight, and the many bunkers and tough undergrowth seem less harrowing

You will need every club in the bag, not forgetting the putter on the greens, which are on he large side, well shaped and not always easy to read. Add this some pretty viewpoints over the mountains and good general upkeep and you will understand why we consider Capdepera to be a class golf course, one of the very best in Majorca
