Flamingos Golf Club and Resort, first 5 star grand luxury hotel opened its doors in April 2003.

The Hotel Villa Padierna resembles an old palace, converted into a luxury hotel, with 112 rooms and suites. The decoration and design of the rooms, courtyard, loggia, bar and restaurant reflect the traditional life of an "Italian Villa".

Situated on level one is the Caddie Master and a pro-shop with over 400 SQM. Jose Ruiz Arjona, the head caddie and his team, greet the golfers. His friendliness and his good sense of humour are a good beginning for the player to enjoy an excellent day.

Situated on the ground floor of the Hotel Villa Padierna is the reception, the courtyard with its glass dome, bar and clubhouse lounge, the restaurant "La Loggia" and the luxury restaurant "La Veranda". This is ideal for private dinners, a christening or other festivities. The large terrace's offer fantastic views of the golf course Flamingos Golf Club, Mediterranean Sea and Africa.

The sunset is an occasion not to be missed. There are few hotels in the world that have so much luxury with the many original antiques, marble, fountains and paintings as well as an exclusive and friendly atmosphere.

From the marbled courtyard in the reception the stairs go up to the first floor, where you can find the bedrooms. Each one of the rooms has been carefully decorated and designed and has been equipped with the most modern fittings for meeting the customers requirements. The Hotel Villa Padierna is the only hotel on the Costa Del Sol that offers its guests free access to the Internet. It is also the only the hotel which offers in almost every room the same view from the bathrooms as from the bedrooms. The fourth floor is completely different. It consists of 4 penthouses individually decorated. Depending on each guest's needs they can be of different sizes as further bedrooms or salons can be added.

The largest conference room in the Hotel Villa Padierna is 360SQM and can be divided into 3 separate rooms. This room is the perfect size for a gala dinner, business meeting or launching a new product.

For the presentation of prizes for any golf tournament we would suggest for it to take place in the central Loggia because it is the perfect place for such events as it provides the best views, atmosphere and elegance.

During summer 2003, the outdoor swimming pool will be completed, which will be in the garden between the two hotel buildings. The second hotel building will have 50 more rooms and also a fully equipped spa with thermal baths. There will also be further meeting rooms. During summer 2004 these facilities will be opened.
