Isla Canela Golf Course is located in an area of outstanding natural scenery. It is between the Andalusia Atlantic and the Portuguese Algarve.

Within the resort you will find 7kms of beaches, sailing channels, a yacht marina, and a wonderful Microclimate which makes Isla Canela an ideal destinations for Golfers.

The Golf course is conveniently reached from Europe by the Airports of Faro (50kms) and Seville (150kms) and through the peninsula by the IP-1 motorway.

Isla Canela Golf Course is an 18 hole par 72 links golf course, and was completed in 1994. It is well established and popular with residents on the island, visitors and holiday makers alike.

Set in a beautiful landscape dotted with olive, orange and eucalyptus trees, it offers challenging and entertaining play on its gentle sloped dunes.

The attractive club house caters to golfers every need, and there is a permanent golf school as well as a golf shop, a bar and a restaurant. There is also a swimming pool and two bowling greens next to a beautiful terrace on which to sit and relax.

There are also plans for a second golf course to be built on the island, close to the first one. It will be crafted in the same style and offer all the challenging and rewarding golfing that visitors to Isla Canela golf course have come to know and to expect.
