The hotel commands a central position between the La Cala Golf Courses. The 107 bedrooms boast breathtaking views over the South Course which can be enjoyed from your terrace or balcony. Beautifully decorated, they maintain the traditional Andalusian architectural style whilst offering the luxury of Satellite TV, electronic safe, hairdryer, direct dial telephones, central heating, air conditioning, minibar and bathrooms complete with underfloor heating.

The La Cala Golf Resort also has an excellent restaurant and a snack bar; La Terraza (in the hotel) where you can indulge in the finest selection of national and international dishes and the snack bar Hoyo 19 in the clubhouse. The Bar Califa is a new addition to the complex where you will be able to sample the best selection of cocktails while you listen to live music.

La Cala Golf Resort offers its clients a wide variety of sporting activities, indoor and outdoor. Keep yourself fit in their gym, which includes the latest in technical equipment. A good way to relax at the end of the day is by taking advantage of the sauna and indoor pool installations, or using the outdoor pool or Jacuzzi.

La Cala Golf Resort is certainly geared up for the sports enthusiasts. In addition to their two championship courses ( the third is currently being built),there is a sports pitch, plus you can play tennis by day or at night on the two floodlit courts. The Splendid newly converted squash court is also available for use.

For nature lovers, we suggest a relaxing trek through the inland hills of Mijas, where you can delight in the unrivalled views of this area.

Exercise Pool and Spa Experience

This indoor pool enables hotel guests, CaraCala members and La Cala residents to swim for exercise or join a water exercise class all year round.

Spa Experience:-

At the heart of the CaraCala Spa is the ‘Spa Experience’, which comprises a superb indoor and outdoor hydro pool plus an innovative Thermal Suite inspired by the ancient Roman tradition of sequential thermal bathing. The Spa Experience offers a creative and delightful way to totally relax and re-energise for a couple of hours whilst stimulating and nurturing all the senses.

The sensory journey of the Spa Experience includes:-

Hydrotherapy Pools – Indoor and Outdoor pools in a stunning setting overlooking the La Cala estate. These warm pools (35ºc), which have airbeds, body and foot jets, neck massage fountains and a geyser, provide the opportunity for relaxation, pleasure and therapy.
You can take the opportunity to relax on the adjoining sun-deck.

Thermal Suite

• Hamam – Turkish style relaxing steam room where aromatic oils will diffuse into the atmosphere to help relax and calm the mind.
  
• Garden Crystal Sauna – A hot dry heat (80ºc to 90ºc), is a key element in the cycle of hot and cold Biothermal treatments that results in a toning of skin, a conditioning of the respiratory and circulatory systems and deep relaxations of the mind and body.
  
• Herbal Steam Room – Featuring pure herbal essences this beautiful cabin is hotter and steamier than the Hamam.
  
• Experience Showers – An interesting and enjoyable way to cool down, these showers offer different water pressures and temperatures, lightning, fragrances and sound.
  
• Igloo – This ice room provides another inviting alternative for cooling and stimulation using ice crystal.
  
• Kneipp Foot Baths – Foot massage in either hot or cold water.
  
• Tepidarium – A warm, slightly humid area where you can comfortably relax on heated ceramic loungers.
  
• Relaxation Room – A cooler option to the Tepidarium.

Rhe suite supplement includes an additional 30 minutes relaxation time following your treatment, allowing you to rest and to make the most of the delightful suite facilities, including your own double whirlpool bath and steam shower.
