COURSE REVIEW

The first two holes are set on the a lovely green plateau along with the last six holes. These two holes are very flat and are both easily playable. The first a short par 4 and the second a dangerous little par 3.

The shot uphill third is a short par 4 that plays long and appears to be on the side of a hill with wonderful views of the coastline and the golf course below. The flag stick on the third is very deceiving as it is a marker and stuck on the top of a tree!.

The fourth hole is a short buggy ride around the hill and is the most amazing hole! The tee is some 80 meters above the fairway and vertigo sufferers should beware. Just close you eyes and you will hit the fairway on this par five. The only other hole on this part of the course is a small par 3 (5th).

The next eight holes are set in a valley and four go out to towards the setting sun and the next four come back towards the clubhouse. All these holes have fairly narrow fairways and your drive must be very accurate. There is a stream that runs through the back of the 6th hole and also features on the 10th and 11th. A different stream will make life difficult for you at the back of the 7th that also runs through the 8th and 9th. Watch out for the short par 4 11th, rated at SI 1, this may cause you problems and needs to be respected.

Once you’ve negotiated the steep hill in your buggy after the 12th the final six holes are on the plateau and are, again, very flat and playable. The views are stunning as you wander towards the clubhouse for that well deserved ice cold beer.
