The Novo Sancti Petri situated in the bay of Cádiz at the Costa de la Luz is 9 km away from Chiclana de la Frontera, 50 km from Jerez airport and 30 km from Cádiz.

The golf course Novo Sancti Petri is located in the Novo Sancti Petri housing estate right at the beautiful sandy beach of La Barrosa on the Atlantic Ocean. This new complex occupies nearly 400 hectares and includes the golf course, villas and apartments and several hotels: two five-star, ten four-star and three four-star aparthotels.

The mild climate converts Novo Sancti Petri into an ideal destination for any type of sport, especially golf, all year around.

The golf course, the first one in Spain designed by Severiano Ballesteros, offers 36 holes which are divided into two rounds of 18 holes. 27 holes were inaugurated in 1990 and the additional 9 holes in spring 2001.

Round A (Mar-Pinos): Round A is composed of four holes Par 3, ten holes Par 4 and four holes Par 5. Holes 1 to 9 offer wide fairways and three water hazards. The Green of hole 6 is the most spectacular as it is situated upon the beach. Holes 10 to 18 are bordered by pine trees, without water hazards.

Round B (Centro): whereas round B offers six holes Par 3, six holes Par 4 and six holes Par 5. Any 18-hole-combination has Par 72.

the first 9 holes are flat, with a lake between hole 5, 8 and 9. From hole 10 to 13 the terrain is undulating and offers magnificent looks over the atlantic ocean, as well as a water hazard between hole 10 and 13. There is a lake between hole 14, 15 and 16. Hole 18 has an s-shaped bunker (Severiano).

Various water hazards, the abundant vegetation (the flora is typical for the region: pine trees, cork trees, junipers, carob trees, olive trees, etc.), bunkers, as well as the ocean breeze make playing more difficult. The course is interesting for players of all levels.

The course has a total surface of 123 hectares, and includes a spacious practise area. The driving range offers space for 110 players simultaneously ( 25 spaces covered ) 3 chipping greens, 2 putting greens and 3 holes Pitch & Putt. Furthermore, the PGA Golf Academy of the club has its own exclusive practice area.
